50&50 has a deep, dark ruby colour. It has huge depth on the nose revealing gorgeous aromas of black cherries, raspberries and tea leaves, with a core of vanilla, roasted almonds, tobacco and leather. On the palate, it is warm and elegant with firm tannins and a solid structure which is lifted by a well-balanced acidity. Luscious, with a very long, caressing finish.

Tasting notes
50&50 has a deep, dark ruby colour. A powerful and seductive wine, the bouquet is elegant and ample with aromas of red currants, black berries, undergrowth and subtle spices. The taste is well balanced with silky tannins and a long lingering finish with notes of leather, cocoa and Mediterranean.
The unique merge of Chianti Classico Sangiovese and Cortona Merlot, 50&50 is an extraordinary wine which mirrors the incredible span of Tuscan wine quality across the appellations. A visionary wine. - The winemaking team

Concentrated black currant and cherry flavors add accents of chocolate, earth and sweet spices to this version, buoyed by dense tannins. Remains bright and fresh on the long, spice-tinged finish. - Wine spectator
