The 2015 La Fleur de Bouard Le Plus has an intense, corpulent, ravishing bouquet with sexy blueberry, blackberry and cassis aromas shrouded by just a touch of alcohol. The palate is full-bodied with dense, but polished tannin. This is a harmonious Lalande-de-Pomerol, sleek and smooth with layers of sweet black fruit, but it just misses the precision and refinement that others possess. Still, it feels long in the mouth - one for those seeking hedonistic pleasure. Robert Parker
Barrel Sample. The wine is 100% Merlot from old vines. It is tight, tannic and concentrated with the potential for richness that is still to show. Powered by its structure, this micro-cuvée needs a long time for aging. Wine Enthusiast
The nose is fine, elegant, generous and aromatic. It reveals notes of coffee and fine notes of blackberry, fresh cassis associated with touches of violet as well as discreet woody notes and small touches of almond. The palate is fruity, mineral, elegant, well-balanced and offers a beautiful definition / precision, a nice structure, a beautiful harmony as well as a beautiful, silky, sleek and slightly untuous matter. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, plum and slight notes of cassis associated with touches of fresh red berries, coffee, oak, violets as well as a hint of liquorice and fine notes of chocolate. Good length and persistence. A beautiful and harmonious wine! VertdeVin
An Intense, cherry liqueur penetrates the senses before submitting to the essence of lilies, irises and Gourdon flowers. A profusion of tobacco, cocoa and hints of blueberries waft through the olfactory receptors as you sip this fine 100% Merlot. This wine is like rare Turkish velvet woven around a lingering note of licorice, dark chocolate and espresso. The supple textures really carry through from the delectable start to the scrumptious finish. 94-96 Jeff Leve
