"The 2020 Coutet has a pale lemon-gold color, waltzing out of the glass with energetic notes of lemon tart, pink grapefruit, green mango and lime blossoms, with hints of chopped almonds, clover honey, candle wax and straw, plus a waft of sea spray. The palate is all class, featuring ethereal intensity and amazing poise, enveloped in a satiny texture and seamless acidity, finishing long and mineral laced. Currently, while it is just a tick or so down on the impressive 2019, I love the restraint and energy of this 2020 and wouldn't be surprised if it eventually spreads its wings and surpasses its showier sibling over time." - Robert Parkers Wine Advocate
"Verhaltene Nase, zeigt Blütentee, Aprikosen, Pfirsich, Rosmarinblüten und etwas RauChâteau Im Gaumen von mittlerer Statur, deutliche Süsse, das ist Honig in flüssiger Form, die Säure wirkt moderat, trägt den Wein in einen langen und aromatisch attraktiven Abgang, endet auf Dörraprikosen und wieder Rosmarinblüten. Etwas üppig, aber komplex." - Adrian van Velsen - vvWine.ch
"Helles Goldgelb, silberfarbene Reflexe. Mit floralen Nuancen unterlegte frische Orangenzesten, ein Hauch von Ananas und Pfirsich, Orangenblüten im Hintergrund. Saftig, elegant, gelbe Tropenfrucht nach Mango und Papaya, Honigtouch im Abgang, bleibt haften, harmonischer Stil." - Falstaff
"On the nose, elegant, distinguished, precise, nicely marked by its terroir and offers some straightness, depth (in finesse) and complexity. It reveals notes of lime, crystallized lemon and more slightly minerality associated with a nice elegant/edgy/sliced side, touches of zest, crunchy pineapple as well as fine tips of white flowers, lime blossom and discreet hints of nuts. On the palate, fruity, balanced and offers freshness, juiciness, acidity, tension, precision as well as a good definition, an edgy/sharp side (reflects with dignity and finesse its terroir). The wine expresses notes of crystallized lemon, zest and more lightly yuzu associated with touches of candied mandarin, crunchy pineapple, lemon blossom as well as hints of lime blossom, white flowers, candied white berries, and fine spicy notes. Good length." - VertdeVin
"Intense and pure nose with plenty of layers, good depth despite its youth. Fresh apricot, pineapple, fine toast with vanilla, fresh butter and confit de citron. The palate has great density and weight with fine extract and good oak integration, a fairly high sweetness but a classic Barsac freshness adds plenty of lift, gorgeous young fruit with saffran, hazelnut and floral notes, textured and viscous with a very long and persistent finish. Something great in the making." - Andreas Larsson - Tasted
